Urbana University Athletic Training

MISSION

The Urbana University Athletic Training Department exists to deliver quality athletic training services to the student athlete and University community. Athletic Training services include, but are not limited to: injury prevention, emergency care and injury management, rehabilitation of injuries, and student athlete education. In addition to provision of the Athletic Training Services, the Urbana University Athletic Training Department also exists to create and maintain a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program for the Urbana University student.

It is the mission of Urbana University Athletic Training Department to create a center of excellence in athletic health care in the small college environment, with emphasis placed on compassionate care and maintenance of a professional and educational environment which shall provide the highest quality of athletic health care and educational experience to the student athlete and University community as a whole.

VISION

The Urbana University Athletic Training Staff shall provide athletic training services of the highest caliber to the Urbana University student-athlete and University community while maintaining a quality clinical education site for the Urbana University Athletic Training Education Program. The Urbana University Athletic Training Department is committed to becoming the leader in athletic training service and education amongst small colleges and universities within the state of Ohio.

Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
