Warriors Halt UU's 3-Game Winning Streak

FT. Wayne, Indiana (September 23, 2012) - A hot Urbana University women's soccer team ran into a hotter Indiana Tech squad on the road on Sunday afternoon.  Battling the Warriors just 17 hours after defeating Goshen College 3-2 in Indiana, the Blue Knights didn't have enough to overcome 8-2 Indiana Tech in a 3-1 loss.
Freshman Bailey Domer scored her second goal in as many days to cut the deficit to 2-1 late in the second half, but the Warriors answered with an insurance goal to clinch their third straight victory.  Abby Pearson provided the assist on Domer's goal.  The assist is Pearson's team-leading third of the season.  She is now ninth all-time at Urbana in assists.
Urbana dips to 3-5-0 with the loss.  The Blue Knights have one more game left on their 7-game road trip.  The team travels to Seton Hill University on Thursday for a 4:00 p.m. match with the Griffins. [Box Score]
