Men's Soccer Team Announces Raffle Winners

URBANA, Ohio (August 28, 2012) - The Urbana University men’s soccer team is happy to announce the winners for the annual raffle award, a fundraiser to help support with the team expenses. The draw took place before the Urbana University vs. Wittenberg University pre-season scrimmage on August 24th.  The winners were:
1st Prize: Hotel, Steak Dinner and 2 OSU Football Game Tickets for the Fall 2012 – Winner – Dave Bechtol Ticket #859

2nd Prize: Hotel at the Beautiful Scotia Inn in downtown Urbana – Winner – Mohammed Kaba Ticket #571

3rd Prize: $100 Gift Certificate to Cafe Paradiso, an Italian restaurant in Urbana's historic square – Winner Edward Willoughby #578

The coaches and players would like to kindly thank everyone who supported this raffle for the funds raised to help the Blue Knights.  The men's soccer team opens its 2012 season at home on Thursday against Bellarmine University.  Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
