Toys for Tots Returns to UU

URBANA, Ohio (October 31, 2012) - The United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation will visit the campus of Urbana University on November 20th and 25th this holiday season. Toys for Tots will collect toys and donations during the Blue Knights' home basketball games on both dates. On Tuesday, November 20th, the men's basketball team welcomes Ashland University to the Grimes Center for the Blue Knights' 2012 home opener.  The teams will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. game, and on Sunday, November 25th, the men's team will face-off against Mercyhurst University at 2:00 p.m. Free admission to both games will be granted to anyone who donates an unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more. Toys for Tots will also accept monetary donations, and anyone who donates at least $10 to the Foundation will also receive free admission.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
