Blue Knight Men's Soccer
Welcome to the Urbana University Men's Soccer Webpage,
As of 2010, Urbana University is a full member of NCAA Division II. In the past 4 seasons, we have built one of the toughest schedules in the region. This past season (2012), we played 11 teams that were ranked inside the NCAA D-II Top 25. Five of those teams advanced to the NCAA D-II Tournament, and two played in the NCAA Final Four (Mercyhurst and Saginaw Valley State.) We simply play and compete with the best teams in the country. In 2012, we finished with a 10-7-1 record and captured the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship. In 2013, we are joining the new and highly competitive Mountain East Conference, which is an exciting step forward for our University and athletic programs. We seek players who are serious about playing and competing at this level. The same applies to the classroom. We seek diligent student-athletes who are committed to helping us maintain our team GPA of 3.0 and above.
We have a beautiful school with a wide array of academic programs. Urbana University is nestled in the Ohio countryside, but it is within a 45-minute drive of Dayton and Columbus, Ohio. We have a small school environment with an average teaching ratio of 16 students to 1 professor. Our facilities are excellent with an all-weather stadium and grass practice fields. We have locker rooms, a swimming pool and a gymnasium on campus, all within walking distance of all our residence halls.
