Chelsea Winderl
Prep Notes: Chelsea is an outside hitter from Hamilton Local in Columbus. On the court, she received All-MSL and Central District First Team honors. As a 3-sport athlete Chelsea was still able to maintain a 4.0 GPA. She was named to the National Honor Society, Student Council, Academic Team, and In the Know.
Personal: Her career aspirations are to obtain a degree in Education and to coach volleyball. Chelsea is the daughter of Teresa and Michael Guyer. She has two siblings, Brytney Winderl and Courtney Guyer.
Why did Chelsea choose Urbana University? "The coaches and volleyball team were very friendly, nice small campus, small class sizes, and a great school for Education Major."
Her thoughts looking toward her first collegiate season - "I am excited to take on the challenges, to meet new people that I'll make life-long memories with and ready to experience the next level of volleyball."
Coach Cromer on Chelsea: "The team is looking forward to having Chelsea in the program. She is explosive at the net, aggressive on defense, and her enthusiasm is contagious! She is a smart hitter and her jumping ability is impressive. Chelsea will be a great asset to the Blue Knight program."
