Serina Alex

College Notes: Serina is a middle hitter and a junior college transfer.  She played two seasons for San Bernardino Valley Community College for Coach Tricia Rossman.  During her freshman year at SBVCC, she was named Honorable Mention All-Foothill Conference, and as a sophomore, she was selected Second Team All-Foothill Conference, averaging 0.69 blocks per game (10th in the conference).

Prep Notes: Serina attended Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley, California.  In her junior year of high school, Serina was named MVP.  As a senior, she earned the Most Improved Award. 

Personal:  Serina is the daughter of Edmond and Sabrina Alex and has two older brothers, Tristan and Keenan.  Serina's career aspirations are become a 1st or 2nd grade teacher.  She is an Early Childhood Education major at Urbana University.

Why did Serina choose Urbana University? "Great environment, great school for my major, and I chose to play volleyball here."

Her thoughts on playing for the Blue Knights this fall:  "I am beyond excited! I can't wait to be on the court with all my awesome teammates dominating the court!"
