Jackie Cousineau

Prep Notes: Jackie Cousineau is a 5'4" guard from Olivet High School in Olivet, Michigan where she played for Coach Rob Fleming.  She is a 2-time AP Class C All-State Selection, a 4-time Battle Creek All-Area Selection, a 4-time Lansing All-Area Selection, a 4-time First-Team All-Conference Selection, and a 2-time Academic All-State selection.  Her teams' high school record during her career was 82-15, which included 4 District titles and 1 Regional title.

Coach Phillips on Jackie Cousineau:  "The best way for me to describe Jackie is that she is the total package.  She is the top ranked student in her class, excels at both basketball and softball, she's a consummate team player with tremendous leadership skills and the list goes on.  Jackie is a winner and her role with Coach Rob Fleming and the outstanding program at Olivet High School has her well prepared for college basketball.  She is fundamentally solid offensively with the ability to shoot the deep ball as well as score off the bounce.  I think she is even better defensively and her aggressive, physical style should fit into our defensive schemes.   I'm obviously very excited to have Jackie with us.  Her enthusiasm and passion for the game will add to our already outstanding team chemistry."
