Coach Phillips on Bethaine Caldwell:  "We welcome Beth to our basketball program.  I was very impressed with her during her visit.  She and her family are willing to do whatever it takes to make her goal of attending Urbana University and playing collegiately come true.  Head Piqua Girls Basketball Coach, David Meyers, attests to her work ethic and desire to grow as a player.  He and I agree that her best basketball is ahead of her.  I have a feeling that Beth will make many positive contributions in a variety of ways to our basketball and university.  She is another individual who we are simply proud to have associated with our program."

Piqua's Beth Caldwell signs her letter of intent to play at Urbana University with her coach and parents looking on.
