
Blue Knight Notes: 2009-10: In his first season with Blue Knights, Tyson played in all 27 games and started 1 at #5 IUP on 12/13/09... He averaged 6.3 points per game during the season, most amongst all reserves....His .545 field goal percentage was the highest on the team... He had a total of 122 rebounds and 10 blocked shots, both totals good enough for 3rd on the team... Nabbed 2 double-doubles on the season (2nd most on the team), with his most impressive performance coming againt Fairmont State on 11/16/09 where he had his season-high in rebounds (15) to go with 12 points...His other double-double came at Lock Haven (10 pts, 11 rebs)...In both instances, Tyson was 1 of 2 Blue Knights with double-doubles in those games (Naudziunas had 11 pts, 11 rebs. vs. FSU, and Wilson had 17 pts, 17 rebs. vs. LHU)...He led the team in steals, rebounds, and blocks on 3 different occassions... At Ohio Dominican Universtiy on 1/19/10 he had his season high when he put down 17 points...Also had 6 rebounds and a season-best .875 field goal percentage when he was 7-of-8 shooting in just 14 minuts of play... His performance during that game nabbed him the Blue Knight Student Athlete of the Week award for the week on 1/22/10... Reached double-digit scoring in 7 games, including 3 of the first 4 games...Connected on 69.4% of his free throws.
